16 years later, another new CMS

In 2008 I moved this blog over from Django to WordPress self-hosted. Somewhat unrelated to the recent WP-driven controversies, my install of the site had an upgrade meltdown last week, locking me out of my admin for no doubt some plug-in or theme-related security glitch.

So, Ghost it is. I am running on OpalStack and they had a one-click install. Migrating from a broken WordPress was a bit more of a challenge - I did a SQL export, spun up a new temporary WP instance and then did a Ghost export using the plug-in.

As a result, there are still broken images in the archive posts which I will clean up over the next few weeks. But will I blog more often now? Possibly.
